Simone Horton has been teaching piano and voice here at Mansfield Music since 2012. She is also the Choir director and Keyboard teacher at Northstar School. While she is mostly self taught on the piano, having grown up in a musical family with sporadic lessons throughout her childhood, her vocal training was a combination of different choirs from the time she was 7 and private lessons all through high school. She was active in all high school vocal competitions (UIL, Solo & Ensemble, etc) and in musical theater. Now she performs live with different bands in the area as both a singer and keyboardist.
If you want to start your child off young, she is the teacher to see. She loves teaching all ages and levels, but specializes in connecting with pre-readers and elementary level students. Her goal is get back to school, get a music education degree with an emphasis in Choir, and teach music at an elementary school.

JAMES DUMAINE

James DuMaine is a Music Producer, Engineer, Composer, Song Writer, Course Writer, Book Writer and Educator originally from Louisiana. He’s had a successful earlier career as a performing musician and producer who worked with several international Grammy award winning funk and hip-hop groups (GAP Band, George Clinton, Brick, Yarbrough & Peoples, DOC) along with a few great film projects. Keyboards have been in his whole life, the stage his passion, and the recording studio his layer of mastery. But at the heart of his skills is the ability to produce very compelling emotionally intense songs and music. As an educator, he has taught well over 1300 students of which many have gone on to have successful careers as engineers and producers in the music, television, and film industry. Being the versatile musician that he is, James knows how to deliver contagious melodies, screaming rock solos, and funky rhythms to the stage on a dime.

SHERIDAN COFFEE

Sheridan Coffee is pianist, guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer from Arlington, TX. With her mother being a piano teacher and her next-door neighbor being a guitar teacher, Sheridan was exposed to music from a young age and found she had a natural affinity for it. She started voice lessons in 2010, joined Texas Girls Choir in 2014, began producing music independently in 2018, and began teaching private lessons in 2021. Sheridan takes pride in nurturing her students' skill and passion for music, and plans to continue to establish her career in the music education industry.

SAUL SANCHEZ

Saul Sanchez is emerging jazz pianist in the DFW area. Some of his major influences include Wynton Kelly, Red Garland, and J.S. Bach. Sanchez has received his associate of arts in Music from Dallas College North Lake campus and is currently finishing up his B.A. in Jazz studies from The University of Texas at Arlington. He recalls a moment when attending a live jazz performance and seeing the musicians flow with complete freedom as the moment in which he chose to pursue music. When Sanchez is not performing he enjoys teaching his passion to his students.

EMILY LEDESMA

Emily has been working at Mansfield Music Mentors since March of 2022 teaching primarily voice. Emily is currently a sophomore at the University of Texas at Arlington studying Music Education with an emphasis in voice. She is also studying a minor in Spanish. Emily is currently a member of TMEA and has sung in the Texas Women's all-state choirs. She has a deep love of music that started when she was a little girl and has been singing since she was 8. She loves singing classically but has the most fun singing Broadway and pop music.

NIYAH EASTERLING

Niyah Easterling is a multi-instrumentalist with a passion for seeing others learn the beauty of music and share their experiences with those around them. Music shaped the memories of her childhood, as she began to sing at the age of 3 and has not stopped since. She would go on to study classical violin for 9 years, most significantly during her time at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy ('17). While at Liberty University ('21), she would graduate with a B.S. in Music and Worship with primary emphasis in vocals and secondary emphasis in guitar.
Niyah’s collegiate focus hinged upon the concept of using the arts as an outreach tool, and using music as a bridge between various cultures, languages, and communities. She has had the privilege of teaching basic music concepts to children in a refugee camp in Greece ('21), and of using music as a community outreach tool in Hungary and the Philippines ('22). She continues to operate in these music areas, along with exploring songwriting and personal artistry.
